Eco-SESA is a cross-disciplinary project funded by IDEX Grenoble-Alps. It involves 16 laboratories, including LIG, covering 10 disciplines, from mathematics to social sciences. Eco-SESA aims to produce knowledge, concepts, tools and methods for the production and consumption of renewable energies, at multiple scales, from the individual and district to towns and countries, supporting multiple stakeholders, from the inhabitant to decision makers. In this project, IIHM is an active member of two of the five work packages: “Interactive systems to involve occupants of buildings” and “Emerging behaviors from individual to communities”. Results from HCI include: a multi-slider novel interaction technique for decision-making tasks performed by general audience for optimization problems. Peripheral and tangible displays that help occupants to save energy consumption in the public areas of a tertiary building.
